Chief

Seton Lake Indian Band, three terms - 1978 to 1982, 1986 to 1988 Shalalth, British Columbia
  • Provided political, cultural and social leadership for community responsible for community administration, providing leadership to Band council, conducting meetings and consultations.
  • Represented community in regional, provincial and national forums member of Union of BC Indian Chiefs, ex offico with Assembly of First Nations Summit.
  • Established community's first elementary school and gymnasium through a consultative and participatory process with Elders, Council members and staff.
  • Developed an effective administration of programs and services.

Band Councillor

  • Worked with Band Councillors and Chief to promote effective administration and leadership to community.
  • Chaired Council meetings, Education Committee, Recreation Committee, Social Development Committee.
  • Developed addictions programs.
