Provided political, cultural and social leadership for community responsible for community administration, providing leadership to Band council, conducting meetings and consultations.
Represented community in regional, provincial and national forums member of Union of BC Indian Chiefs, ex offico with Assembly of First Nations Summit.
Established community's first elementary school and gymnasium through a consultative and participatory process with Elders, Council members and staff.
Developed an effective administration of programs and services.
